UGANDA WARAGI:
Uganda has a well developed alcoholic drinks industry in East Africa, producing variety of beers and spirits.
One of the famous spirits produced is Uganda waragi which has enjoyed the attraction of the local and regional
market.
In the 60s it enjoyed a very lucrative export market overseas particularly in the USA.
The export of Uganda waragi is being revived and is already being exported to overseas markets once
again notably the USA and EU.
